For diyer, you need to be prepared for troubleshooting or worse case RMA.
Troubleshoot - you need spare system or parts or someone with their spare system with a kind heart hat you know to help you.
RMA - waste time. Back and return. 1 trip to send . 1 trip to collect if there is no 1 to 1. Take leave and those things.
Get a pre build if there are good prices, warranty and save ur hassle.
Most of us will not upgrade or do overclocking those hobbyist stuff unless you are gamer.
20 years ago, we diy because a a pre branded pc costs $2.5 k and above. A diy with similiar spec cost estimated 1.5. Is it worth the hassle now for current savings esp for entry - mid range systems ?
i doubt so. Better grab that aftershock pc with the 12.12 promo - $500 asap before it runs out.
