20 years ago, we diy because a a pre branded pc costs $2.5 k and above. A diy with similiar spec cost estimated 1.5. Is it worth the hassle now for current savings esp for entry - mid range systems ?

i doubt so. Better grab that aftershock pc with the 12.12 promo - $500 asap before it runs out.

A320 can use 3600mhz CL16?

It can because memory controller is by CPU, not MB.
It is important to note that A320 basically is bare bone chipset; no oc and less pcie lanes. A320 give 4 lanes. USB 3.1 can eat up to 2 lanes. Sata aka your sata-based ssd or hdd also eat lanes. Not much left to play around.

Personally I recommend getting Asrock B450M Pro4 but Ryzen 5 3600 + Asrock B450M Pro4 is already around $380 and with other things, it will exceed ts budget easily by $200.

They sell in a set so just use it lo. Your evga can still be used as a spare

And the ram I recommending him is at 3600mhz cl16

If a320 chipset and R5 3600 can get below SGD $300 already. Cheapest i have seen is $290.

I have not seen where their tags are but if it's not on the side panel, removing side panel allows you to easily change your sdd/hdd. Even easier if it's m.2 ssd.
