I done relief teaching in Bartley many years ago. The students were okay, still eager to learn and a joy to teach. I guess not every school is a good school but definitely every school has good students. Bartley definitely has good students and teachers.

Soon Thor Lim received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Surrey, Guildford, U.K., under the Agilent Technologies, Singapore Scholarship in 2005 and First Class Hons. in electronic and electrical engineering, in 2001.

He has more than 12 years experiences in photonics related research and is currently with the Institute of High Performance Computing A*STAR, Singapore. He is also a Technical Manager at Optic2Connect Pte Ltd., Singapore, on ad hoc basis.

He has won numerous awards, including, the IET Innovation Award 2011 Software and Design Category (Highly Commended) in the United Kingdom for his work in modeling and simulation of high-speed optical devices. He holds several patents and published numerous scientific journal and conferences.(Based on document published on 27 March 2020).
