I think your phone having problem. The 3 S7e in my family and last remaining note 7 i am using doesn't have this problem.

First one I thought it is, but then my exchanged one has again. So it's one problem I'm going to take note of when I get a new Samsung phone. A few people here also said they had similar problem.

Maybe they will remove lightning port. Can sync over WiFi and charge wirelessly. Audio output should be via Bluetooth instead.

Even high-end Bluetooth sounds like crap... seriously... I tried Marshall headphones... really poor fidelity...

So far my S7e has been behaving itself... quite like the phone except that the curved screen always registers touches from my palm... the Note 7 was much better in this regard... I guess there was a software upgrade for the palm rejection software... oh well...

Actually now I'm quite worried about Samsung's miss taps problem when typing as both my Note 7 are having it. I can't type any longer passage without some taps not registering, and it's really frustrating.

Tried different keyboards but still the same, seems like a fundamental issue which is a big minus point if S8 continue to have it.

loved the note 7 so much, i refused to get a s7 edge even though my dad offered his phone line to recontract for one... the downgrade will only make me more annoyed with the loss of my note 7.
got a One Plus 3 off contract instead. great phone and im really enjoying it but... looking forward to the note 8.... hope its revolutionary enough for me to buy it again on launch day.

Leaving my last post for this thread, thus ending my note 7 saga.

chq arrived this morning, n like many bros here, its a fast n fuss free exp!

Using back my trusty note 4 to tie thru until the next galaxy note, be it a note 8, S8 pro or S8 prime or watever they may call it...i will not buy another samsung phone without a S pen.

My wishlist for the next note:

!) many cores soc
2) 6gb ram, 128gb device storage, with msd support.
3) removable batt, 5.7" 1440p edgeless or bezeless screen
4) dual sim, dual 4G standby mode.
5) dedicated audiophile dac, dual stereo ext speaker.
6) plus all the current note 7 goodies.
