Nope. There is a YouTube video showing no difference already. Whatever thing that can scratch gorilla glass 5 will scratch 4 also. I guess people notice the hairline scratches cuz of confirmation bias. There were rumours that gg5 is softer than 4 so everyone starts looking for hairline scratches. Even after it is proven that gg5 is actually as hard as 4, very difficult to make people change their mind about it.

I have never once compared it to anything from the start...
I have just said that a screen protector is a must as I have gotten hairline scratches on my screen while using naked.

They shouldn't be asking for anything other than handset

I think the courier companies Samsung engaged hired part timers for this recall. Some delivery companies do this. I had some other couriers who told me they have day job so they always do night deliveries.

Actually you can reject his request, this is from Samsung FAQ,

Q: Can I exchange/ refund the Galaxy Note7 if I have lost some of my in-box accessories or the box?
A: Yes, you are still eligible to participate in the exchange/ refund programme.

Basically only phone is required.
