TS, it will be better if you state your psu causes your system to auto-restart. My Antec tp-650 also same issue last few week. Check with Convergent and still has warranty. Gonna sent for rma soon.

TS intel system unlikely to need more than 250 W at full load and that is being generous... that is if the 95W tdp i5 and 108W radeon 5770 are fully loaded with all the hd, fans, dvd fully spinning...

TS's rig sips little power until can use this liao;

Rma a FSP Aurum 400w 80+ bronze ,5 yr warranty but power degraded on the 3rd yr so rma. Was given 2 option

1) free 1 to 1 exchange to same model reflurish unit (look old to me)
2) top up $45 for 550w 92+ platinium with 2 yr warranty from now. (which my warranty still got 2 yr more for 400w 80+ bronze )

which has a better deal ?

Thanks

I would choose option 2 and move on with life.

I would top up the $45. Refurbished units you never know what is old inside that may give up earlier than the rest. Pay more for a better peace of mind and longer warranty :)
