This always the dilemma no? If mkt crash he has foresight

If mkt dun crash then he misses out

yes but when will the market dip?
6 months, 1 year, 3 years from now?
if the market doesn't dip, you are losing out on the potential profits
timing the market is bad strategy everyone knows that

yes but when the market crashes you will come to a crossroad again:

do i wait for the market to go even lower before i buy?
what happens if you buy and the market go even lower?
if you don't buy and the market start to recover, you blame yourself for not buying.

best way is to adjust your risk and not totally withdraw from investing

Just requested withdrawal from stashaway. Return of 6% since I started in late march. Good performance I would say.

Will monitor and reinvest when the market dip. Perviously was thinking at DCA every months for long term but now that my portfolio is at 52 weeks high I would rather lock-in profit rather then DCA now.
I still have funds in moneyowl.
which portfolio profile did you use for your stashaway ah? did you bother to fill up all those optional financial informations for more personalization?

how come you decided to stick with moneyowl instead of stashaway?

Core portfolio with 18.5% risk.

Actually I have been doing DCA with both robo. My funds in moneyowl still barely break-even.. Long term I will keep both stashaway and moneyowl with local stocks as part of my portfolio. For stashaway will reinvest when it dip.

No withdrawal fee. Base on my previous withdrawal experience in 2018:

Smartly- received refund 1 workday later

Stashaway- received refund 3 workdays later

Can Stashaway adjust your risk? Or do you need to change your portfolio?
