Hi all, finally hooted the vega 56 from newegg last week, need some advice on PSU and cooling as I read that it is power hungry. Build as follows:

Asrock Fatal1ty ITX B350 mobo + Ryzen 5 1600
Sapphire Vega 56 8gb GPU
Corsair Vengence 3000mhz 2 x 8gb
Samsung Evo 850 250gb SSD
Toshiba 7200rpm 2TB
Phanteks Evolv Shift - is this too small? Will the cooling be enough?
PSU - read that need 750W, what SFX 750W is good?
Cooling - do I need this? Not intending to OC anything.

Thanks in advance, quite new to new but tried to read as much as I can.
Corsair SF600 is enough to power the whole rig even if your pc your R5 1600

Ok, thank you.

Any mini-itx board that you would recommend?
- MSI B350i Pro/AC with Intel 8265 (if I remember correctly)
- Asrock B350 Gaming ITX/AC
- Asus Strix B350i Gaming (if your chassis is pretty and you want the bling bling RGB like Phanteks Shift/X and FD Nano S)

I would remove the Asus board and add in the Gigabyte B350 board. Cos from past experience, Asus boards look good spec wise but....

I think it depends, really. Some will have bad experience with certain brands, some will have good experience with said brands. So it's really up to fate/luck I guess? So far, my negative experience is with Asrock instead but I don't deny, they made pretty good stuff recently as well.

Do I have bad experience with Asus?
Yes as well. Rampage IV Extreme is one of it with the cold boot issue.

Do I boycott them completely?
Not really. My rig says for itself.

Gigabyte AB350N GAMING WIFI is not friendly to build. The 24pin at top will be a pain to route for some chassis.

based on personal experience, i find that the asrock has the better layout. much easier to do cable management.

Hi guys, anyone can advise what is/are the most bang for the buck RAMs to use with a Ryzen 7 1700 based mITX build?

I would prefer to avoid Corsair ones if I can help it to be honest though, my personal experience with Corsair RAMs through the years hasn't been very good :o

Amazon Prime Now app, local delivery. Local warranty with Convergent one... $229. Tend to sell out fast because this is the cheapest 3000 Mhz RAM. Have used in two builds with Ryzen R5 1600, 1600X. No problem running 2933, C16.

Another budget RAM kit I have no experience of is...

KLEVV CRAS II. 16GB kit for about $275~...

Other than that, most are $300+

Tried both

But the KLEVV performance is nice with LED to boot
I went for KLEVV and paired it with a Cryorig C7. Now wish to find an LED light for the C7....
