why not the b450 tomahawk.

it's the updated version and considered the best mid-range board

klevv is sk hynix. it will run within spec.

2nd gen is not officially supported by amd. If you look at amd website, they released drivers for gen 1 but not for gen 2. I would recommend you just switch to win 10.

Win 10 ain't perfect but at least it isn't as bad as vista or 8.1

You are planning to use a 10 year old os with many known vulnerabilities at the os level? Look at all the powershell v2 and what not attacks. Use win 10 for peace of mind.

Also win 7 is going to be eol by the end of the year aka no more windows updates

sadly i know these issue but i think more issue on 10....really...all the sudden restart and patch....and data gone...

im not saying windows 7 won't happen but win 10 interface is more for touch screen...and the only windows 10 i have is a touch screen pavillion x2

Never had such issues. Win10 pro with custom update settings in GPE and crap preinstalled apps nuked with scripts > Windows 7

Sounds like a user issue than software issue. I haven't had a BSOD due to the OS since i first got Threadripper.

Windows 10 and Windows 7 initial setup is different.
Few things some may want to take note:

Windows 7 drivers you need to manually install them
so there won't be any conflict if using MS drivers or wrong driver

Windows 10 drivers usually is install by MS update.
Certain driver may not be install or install properly thus
creating issue or worse BSOD.

Best advice is download all the driver for the new PC
than install them after Windows 10 have been installed.
Unplug any LAN/WIFI connection.

As for patches I also agree very troublesome especially
with each new build. You may have to reinstall from fresh
to prevent any issues which I encounter before.

Example 17XX to 18XX, there may be issue arise so recommend
to do clean install.
Windows 7 maybe fuss free but newer hardware won't be able
to support it or run on it properly than Windows 10.
