S3 Slow Charging

Been using S3 for 2 months n charging was healthy (2-3mins 1%) until recently charging was unstable (sometimes healthy sometimes take 5-6mins 1%).

Used the same cable+adapter (Original from Samsung) on another S3. Experience same issue.

Suspected it muz be e charger fault, so i used my ipone adapter + cable (from Samsung). Problem still persists. Isit highly chance that e cable is faulty (isit so "fragile" that it get spoilt so suddenly) or its my and e another S3 hardware issue? <Din manage to get a seperate cable to try though at this moment.>

Wat puzzle mi is that sometimes e charging will b normal bt sometimes its dun..

Is slow charging a known prob to S3 users?

i also encountered the same issue.

what i usually do is that if it is charging too slow, eg. after 5 mins, still do not increase by 1%, then i will plug out, adjust the adapter and the usb cable and then plug in again.
most of the time, it solves the problem.

however, i never encounter slow charging of my S3 when using my blackberry charger in office, so i suspect it's adapter/usb cable.

ya! tats wat i did too..unplug n plug in..it works bt nt all e time.. hahaha...
in e end i went svc centre just now..they told mi its a common prob n they exchange a charger n cable to mi.. now i use its working very fine.. n strangely e charging speed up.. 10mins 9%!!! Mayb you will like to visit them for ur issue as well.

Android always has this problem, not just s3, the best case ive encountered is usage while charging, the battery decrease instead of increase

just encounter this.... only have the phone for 3 mths plus...

This was discuss on the main thread try to use the Samsung original charger. I use my BB micro USB cable to PC there's no issue to charge too.

Also make sure you have the latest 4.1.1 firmware, still having problem time to visit Samsung CSO before your phone warranty expire

dun think the slow can compare to s2 slow charging. my s2 took 3.5hr for 0-100% charge. and s2 batt capacity is smaller than s3

just go to plaza sing and change the charger..i just did yesterday & the new charger is working fine now.

I also charge the phone from 9am to 2pm... and it's never half charged. =.= went down service centre to replace the battery. i think i should change the charger too, will they replace with a new original?

So do i have to call Plaza Sing Samsung shop to make appointment to exchange the charger and USB cable ?. & i don't have to bring full set to show them right ?

no need to call. just go down with ur charger and get que no. will do. im going down this thursday :/
they will check the serial no.

i actually thought of having the motherboard to be replaced but it's gonna take like weeks right i heard?

actualli i did google online..its seems a v common prob for S3 Slow charge globally..some users diagnose to be e upgrade to JB 4.1 causing it. When they "dwngrade" to ICS, everything is fine...So we wun noe e real ans unless there is new firmware ver to upgrade ba...hardware or firmware issue? i guess we need to wait..haiiz...

Just tell them Slow Charge.. the CSO will noe wat u mean...reason bcoz it's quite a common prob..by now all Samsung Service Centre staff will noe..hahahah...
as long stil under e 6mth warr, they do an 1-1 replacement to u..no qns asked
