OMG WHY NOT SOONER!

I would like to noe too. I spoke to a booth selling laptop screen protectors but I was glad the promoter told me the screen protector was customised for iMacs which have a different dimension from normal laptops.
But actually I prefer not to use a screen protector cuz the glossy panel is very beautiful.

Yeah. Tho I think some mention it as they are students and likely carry them to school and use them in pubilc places where sunlight can be a problem. Not me tho...I prefer glossy screens myself. I don't use notebooks in sunlight nearly as frequently as in an office or home environment.
I've got four notebooks for home and offie, two using matt and the other two using glossy screens - and I far prefer the glossy ones LOL.
I'd choose a glossy screen for my next Sager for certain.
Hmm you've got a point there.
In any case; I'm trying the compare the prices offered by Mucro/Zepto vs Cubehubs for the 8662, and the former looks real attractive if one doesn't need the pixel warranty or longer warranty period. It seems cheaper by around $50 or so for the configuration I want.

If you check our frontpage we're also offering the same warranty as our competitor as long as you quote what is the competitor's and make that order. We can usually offer at 20 or so less.
We've been figuring out how he's been offering this "no dead pixel insurance" on all the laptops he's been selling. So we'll just play along and use the same "method" to offer this insurance. On top of this, we can also replace Panels if there really is a dead pixel on an LCD.
We'll just play along with whatever gimmick is offered, although the truth is, this definitely is not sustainable.

BTW - since you're here, could I check on a configuration option. The 2X Blu-ray reader / 8X Super Multi Combo - is this drive capable of writing to DVDRs, or is it read-only?
Just wanted to be sure. Thanks.
A Blu-Ray/DVD Super Multi combo means it can only read Blu-Ray. It will be able to write to DVDs and CDs.BTW - since you're here, could I check on a configuration option. The 2X Blu-ray reader / 8X Super Multi Combo - is this drive capable of writing to DVDRs, or is it read-only?
