Oh yeah, does the Sager allow for dynamic switching between Sandy Bridge on-board graphics vs dedicated card (e.g. based on load, etc)?

I thought NP5100 series which carry 555M GPU have that Optimus Technology.

But I thought the 555M was mounted onto the motherboard unlike 560M, 580M and 6990M GPU, you can replace the Card and upgrade the GPU.

Wah lauo... got design fault....

I think my next Sager Lappie will be when the Haswell processors appear lol

Notice:

Sager just released new memory card 1866MHz speed for gaming notebook models NP5100 series, NP8130, NP8150 and NP8170.

And new processor 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM Processor ( 6MB L3 Cache, 2.20GHz) for models NP8130, NP8150 and NP8170.

The default processor for NP8150 and NP8170 will be i7-2670QM from now on.

The speed is not that much a great difference; 0.20GHz only... :o

my fren all ask me why splash so much on something that depreciate as fast as car

For me, it's for the architecture; having the option to do a post-sales upgrade fully instead of just RAM/HDD or buying a new laptop is what I was looking out for.

Hey guys, am going to order my 8150 soon, but still undecided about one final specs issue.

I have a budget, so I can't afford both, and I'm choosing between either upgrading to the 6990, or a 120GB SSD.

Any thoughts on which would be the better option? Mainly going to be using for gaming and surfing.
