First time went to see Hanami. Went to yoyogi. Super pack at around 3pm plus on Sunday. All the tree below is panic spot for the peeps. The walk way is full of ppl too. It's crazy.

Good for u bro, SQ11 was delayed and I'm now strayed inside Narita with family and baby.....
Had to wait for tomorrow 9am on further updates.

Any arrangement from SQ to come back by tonight's SQ11 or the smaller SQ637 back ? The affected aircraft some more is the SG50 logo SQ plane

Hope you all get back home soon!

Both are at full bloom with small signs of petals falling
Really beautiful but again super crowded at both places

Keep a lookout for occasional strong gust blowing the falling petals, I feel it makes the best moments for pictures.

Went to Shinjuku Gyoen, Ueno park, yamazaki river as well nagoya castle.

Japan is seriously such a beautiful country.

Hi guys... I'm going tokyo on 13 April.. any chance to see them sakuras? :(

Given that most places were already in full bloom since early this week, chances not too high. More likely you'll still see some but nowhere as nice as they are now

Heavy rain today in osaka, kyoto, nagoya and also in tokyo... in kansai and parts of chubu, it rained the whole day last night till this evening...

if the sakuras were in full bloom earlier, many of the flowers would have been washed away by today's rain.

the petals have made pools of pink mush choking up the drains on the streets...

The rain was only heavy until early afternoon for Tokyo, didn't check out any sakura spots today since I heard about the rain forecast. I rushed to visit Inokashira Park yesterday. Even before today's rain the petals were raining down into the lake due to strong wind.

Tomr's my last day but I think I've covered pretty much everything on my list for Tokyo as least :D
