Shinjuku Gyoen Park has a few variety of cherry blossoms... do go there. ¥200 entry fee is justifiable.

Also, weather in Tokyo city is cool but the sunlight is very strong. My neck going to chao tar.

Wear t-shirt & jeans is sufficient.

The 30 thousands cherry trees in Yoshino are mostly the white hill cherry tree species. They were all planted by the religious followers of the kinpusenji 500-700 years ago.
