I'm a little hesitant due to not being able to use both SIM cards and the memory card all at once. But I guess I can get used to it...

Does the A7 have auto sleep/wake function, like what the Grand 2 Duo has?

Decided to get one yesterday and been playing with it since. No heat issue encountered.

Nice to experience having 4G on both sides of the causeway, though still miss the ability to have an external memory card to work with. Tried to get the original flip case, but was told that it uses a double-sided tape to hold the phone since the back is not removable?!? Didn't get it coz I've a habit to changing cases.

How to check ? Just got my A7 today....

So far no chance to ask the shops, so the next way is to find a flip case to find out, I guess.

Got a RM20 case from JB KSL Mall, and yes, the A7 does support auto sleep/wake function. No pic to show at the moment, but this case comes in a transparent box, brand is Roar, same price quoted by a couple of shops... I was going around looking for available colors. Black, gold, and pink spotted.

Yup, but careful which case you buy, coz I also bought an Ume brand that's slimmer - back part has only 1 layer, Roar has 2 layers - and auto sleep wake doesn't work with the former.

TPU case as in the back case? I should think so coz between last week and this, I saw more back cases than flip cases available there. In fact, my first was a soft silicon back case last week when I couldn't find any decent OEM flip case around. (Don't like the Samsung original case due to the double-sized tape feature.)

I personally find JB KSL and Holiday Plaza good places to get these cases - all within a short walking distance from each other. Especially Holiday Plaza, the few basement shops at the other end of the building from Parkson. I normally head there whenever I can't find any case for my new phones here.
