Actually, I didn't mind the lack of LED notification light on A9 Pro. I thought I could just use Glance Plus app as an alternative (similiar to Always On Display).

However, Samsung's UI seems to hate any third party app gaining access to the internals. If enabled, the fingerprint scanner will fail and will force me to use my password to unlock every time :(

Mlmlml.
Guess I'm bidding farewell to A9. Might go for Mi Max 128gb variant.

Sent from Samsung GALAXY A9 Pro using GAGT

I have both A9 Pro and a 64GB Mi Max. Between them MiMax only win on its bigger display
Everything else I prefer the A9 Pro
MiMax other advantage to some is its ability for you to flash China, or Global or Developer rom. My unit came with vendor bloated rom and I had than flashed over China rom and subsequently to latest MIUI8 developer rom

same with me have both the 64gb max and the A9 pro , like the A9 pro but due to its screen size and body being smaller than the Max you will feel the device a bit heavy, the weight hasnt been equally distributed across. Also the thing that bothers me is the cost almost same specs as max but double the price .

Folks,

A very important and decisive question.

The A9 Pro... Is the camera good at low light / night shots?

If it is good, I m going for A9 Pro and selling off my Mi Max...

The new Galaxy Note 7 is a little bit over killed for my usage.

I just need a high capacity battery with good low light camera phone so that I can use it for photos taking for oversea holidays.

Unfortunately, Mi Max is just too big for me....! :o No choice, bro!
to be honest if you want a cheaper device with good battery and dual sim and large screen . R7 plus is a good choice . the camera is quite decent and takes good shots . and battery is good can get upto 9 hours SOT with amoled screen
