It's a phone with huge 5000mAh battery, about 2x the size of most phones and lasts about 2x as long too. So don't expect it to the lightest phone in the universe ~

I don't know about the R9 Plus, but the camera on the R9 really cannot make it. The back camera does not seem to have OIS and only after using this phone did I realise the utmost importance of having OIS. Image quality also CMI under low light. Other than that, it is a really snappy phone and I absolutely love its fast charging feature.

I used to have Oppo R9 Plus. While I love its lovely exterior, I found some points lacking:

1. Amoled screen is dim and looks low quality, R7 Plus' Amoled was way better
2. The UI mimicks iOS, including some inconveniences and replaces the monthly data limit control with a cumbersome daily control
3. Both rear and front cams fell short of expectations

I am now using Galaxy A9 Pro and it beats the Oppo R9 Plus in the above points

I shall go test the r9 plus myself to see the good and bad especially camera in low light.

I'm still looking for a solid good camera 6" phone.... Tough, man!

Got the A9 Pro (Gold) from MH a few days ago, just sell off my R9 plus. If you are familier to samsung IU (which I am), my advice is stick to samsung. Not really use to other brands IU... No regrets getting it, gonna use it for a long long time... Pros, long lasting battery, 4GB Ram, 6 inch screen. Cons, slighty heavier than R9 plus, but after a few days I am used to it...

Hi guys, i just bought this A9 pro and i cannot seem to unlock my phone by using my fingerprint. Phone only unlock first by pin/password.

A9 Pro fast charging is not as fast as the R9 plus. Oppo is better in the fast charging... A9 Pro camera is about the same league as the S6... Another down point, A9 pro no gyroscope which R9 plus have. I think Gyroscope only available in flagships but not in mid-range devices... A9 Pro only win in it's battery and 6 inch screen.

No gyroscope... Many games cannot play like that lor....

Install app aida64 to check. Anyway confirm no gyro.

But it doesn't affect my Pokemon Go in any way since I can play with my AR mode off. In fact, it's recommended to switch off the Augmented Reality mode when playing coz it only distracts you and eats away at ya battery

Yeah, mine doesn't turn dark upside down, probably due to the lack of gyroscope.
