As far as plastic is concerned it's easily scratched as compared to glass. And when you drop it with the screen open that's the end of the story leow

Things like scratched by fingernail, coin, key, sand etc will mean you cannot keep the phone in the pant pockets except your breast pocket which become too heavy for keeping unless you are wearing big coat. Which means that you'll need to hold the phone in your hand and the likelihood of dropping is high

No matter how careful you are you'll drop the phone one day. I'm speaking of both the Fold and Mate X

May god help you with your foldable phone

All valid points but no need to invoke God la just cos you don't own it. I bring the Fold to gym every day and use it like any other phone. I carry it in my track pants, shirts, pants and jeans. No issues at all except it's thicker. I also carry it in my waist pouch. I hardly carry it in my hand. I can text while walking using the folded mode. End of the day, it's still just a phone.

However, the scrren, app continuity are well trade off from the sensitive screen

By then I'd have moved on to Fold 2 or other new innovations.. I'm not sentimental about phones.

Oh that is good news for them then! The kill switch is still in google hands. Then can black list devices to protect their business

Yup.

Not only phones but tablet and smartwatch too.

I focus on Apple more than Samsung. Samsung only S and Note series.

Only missing is Apple Watch Series 5, current iPhone 11 series, iPad 10.2” and iPad Pro 11”

When Galaxy Fold was announced, I was thinking if I want to start to collect Fold, but then after much consideration and thanks to this thread and some of you, making me very tempted to get every year with StarHub high end tier plan so that I can get Fold every year
