Just realised Note 3 Super AMOLED screen is so Yellow white... When compared to Z1, Note 3 quite sucky for White back display...

Amoled will always be more yellowish than LCD, at least for the technology now.

However, the current amoled on note3 and s4 are whiter and have more accurate colours than previous ones.

Hi, anyone experience any lag when it comes to typing, be it Web browser or any Web related programs. Can advise if there's any settings which can be tweaked? Weird that I did not experience this on my note 2.

The battery so far is epic.......from morning 100% till now still left 91% ( i hardly use at all) but for my note, should be left 50%.

Sounds great. What is your screen on time? And from morning like what time?

Note 3 usb charging got problem. I charged it morning 11am till 6.30pm still not fully charge 98% Pc is usb 2.0 and using samsung usb 3.0 cable. How to solve?

U wan more accurate whites use professional photo screen mode. That uses the adobe color or sth. Cannot compare to those LG and asus IPS white of cos but it accurate enough

What is screen on time ? ok you mean the "Time on" ? it's 33m 59s. battery used by display and backlight 22%

From morning about 10am till now 8.30pm still 86% full.

Comparing the same kind of usage and settings with my Note 1, it's a very big difference.

Standby time looks solid for Note 3. maybe can last 3 days with minimal usage before it needs to be charged. we will see what is the battery level tomorrow morning.

My friend has a note2 and has been telling me transition from 4g to non 4g will have to go thru a no signal "period".

Today when in the train, when it entered the tunnel it became no signal straightaway. Took abt 10 secs in no-signal land and hecame H.

Why is that we can have seamless change from 2g and 3g but 4g cannot?

tried using samsung smart switch to transfer from iphone 4s to note 3, but transfer always hangs at SMS/messages part. sigh

This is hopeless because the format of iMessges and the msg in Android are different.

No work about just don't copy over the sms or just select some...the whole lot will be impossible.

I tried 1000 msg cannot 500 can after l o n g wait and some when missing. Gave up.

i just hack care, use usb 2.0 cable to charge. Just a bit slow but can hit 100%

My White NOTE 3's backlit light on the 'backspace' & 'menu' virtual buttons is OVERLY BRIGHT! like some spotlight... I tried the brightness features but so far unable to bring it down. Whether it is outdoor or in dim light at home, the brightness remains the same.

I check with my friend's note 3 and confirm mine is too bright to be normal (his is the usual brightness good enuff for daylight and night too).

Just check whether anyone has this problem and can it be dim down using the settings.

After 24hours since last charge, screen time on 2h 6m, batt usage 10%. phone Battery level 50%

my note one on the other hand already down 50% in 12 hours.

do you need the lights to that? i usually just turn it totatlly off.. no need to see the lights.
