Yes iam a starhub user. But my colleague also starhub, i stand next to him, his signal got no problem at all but i totally got no 3g.

Now i am wondering if my phone is faulty

I had it for the past 3 days after the update

Spoke to my source in StarHub - maybe a phone issue cos she also kena haha

My bro is also on SH but he didnt get the dropped data connection problem with his Note 3

Try turning airplane mode on and then off.

Also try another APN under mobile data settings.

Not sure if any peepz here encountered this issue, when the phone is idle (i.e. screen off), the mobile data will auto disconnect.

Means I cannot receive any whatsapp msg until I unlock the phone...!!! Any remedies?

u should see if theres any option in that app that turns off internet automatically when screen off. if u cant find then try to uninstall that app to see if problem persists

tried once before
uninstall after 30 mins

Currently i manually select to starhub and is working fine at the moment. will post to see if the problem came back.

Setting -->more network-->mobile network-->network operator

select the mobile operator u are using

Note: it will take a while to scan and register.

These few weeks my batt drain very fast. These 2 days screen time less than a hr alomost half the batt gone. I didnt even touch the phone much. I suspect is the newly updated google settings but i turned everything off alrdy.

Another thing is the email app keep notifying me of email even when its set to manual and is not my peak hours

Happened few weeks ago. Was fine all the while. BBS shows normal wakelock and processes. Audioout_2 was kinda high when i didnt use anything with sound as its in vibrate mode

Restarting doesnt help. Pull out batt solves the problem. But sometimes android os/ system usage can still be high but not this high so its ok. I can get 4hrs screen time with 4G which is somewhat back to normal.

got software update. now the keyboard becomes dark theme. any 1 know how to make it back to light theme?
