Last time I think I will stick to my note 10.1 one...but now I am inclining to the note 8...and I am also wishing it can come faster!

Even end of May also seem like a long wait :s13:

Ya man!! The 10.1 is just too big to bring around comfortably :(

I too have the Note 10.1, and I love the stylus. now used to the big screen usable size and this makes me wonder if the smaller Note 8.0 good for stylus use comfortably...

needs to have actual hands-on then can decide.

But if its s pen u are using.. isnt big an advantage? u can write better right?

Haha doesn't matter cos my handwriting is small. And I'm usually annotating on slides which the 8 incher should be capable enough la..

I love the 10.1, just that the size just makes it so cumbersome to bring around! Was thinking of getting a 7 incher to carry around but the 7s in the market now r all so underpowered.

LTE have to wait. Waiting for bros to do their reviews.

Have been playing with the Note 8.0 since I got it yesterday evening. Compared to my old Tab 7.7, the 8.0 runs smoother thanks to Jelly Bean, quad-core and 2GB Ram. Screen is vivid and crisp too, shame I have to use a screen protector as the stylus tip does feel a bit sharp to the screen. 8.0 features Jelly Bean, stylus and infra-red port which is not available on 7.7. The reading mode feature subtly tweaks the screen to make reading more pleasant to the eye. Not kindle-good, but better than typical tablets.

Had considered waiting for LTE, but I do not want to lose my current generous data allowance if I convert to 4G :s13:

I think the stylus tip shouldn't be able to scratch the screen. I don't use a screen protector on my 10.1 and I've been using the stylus pretty heavily but the screen is still intact.

Cannot change plan. I so envy with your generous data plan.

Both also Samsung. Won't get bored? Actually I just want to multi tasking, also a bigger screen to read and watch (currently using a pathetic iPhone 4). Lol.

Advisable to use as just tablet only? Rather big as a phone.

when i go overseas, the tab's phone capability is handy as i can use a prepaid card with data, and tether it to my phone. i can make local calls with the prepaid card and loved ones from SG can still contact me on my SG line, whether by SMS or whatsapp with the shared internet access

Bought the Note 8.0 for my dad, well was very impressed with the speed, screen and everything! Basically a blown up Note II and no lags or whatsoever.

Now waiting for the XtremeGuard from eBay and Book cover from BnH to arrive :D

On a side note, my friend also could not resist to buy the Note 10.1 3G as it was wayyy to cheap even for export set, its cheaper than second hand sets that are left with a paltry 3-4 months warranty :o

My Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 just arrived. Incidentally, the above images were captured using my Note II - the little brother. :p

Sold the 'eldest' brother (Samsung Glaxy Note 10.1) a few weeks ago...now 'adopted' by one of the members here.

Need to get a case now.
