Root Success!

I have just successfully rooted my Note 8.0 with no issue.

Here's the screenshots...

Even if you remove the pre-installed bloatware, you don't get back the storage space.

That's because those reside on the system partition rather than the accessible internal storage partition.

So even after rooting, you cannot install apps to the system partition. The only way to do so is to designate them as system apps. However, that brings about its own set of quirks, making it mostly pointless to gain back space on the system partition.

Still, it's good to freeze or remove bloatware to reduce RAM hog & even battery drain in some cases. Big culprits are the Samsung Account background services.

No idea why Samsung backside itchy trying to pose as a cloud service provider duplicating what Google & Android already provides for the user...

K. I get what u are saying... but I remove bloat ware, the memory will go back to official partition. So my user partion remain same. Right?

I have removed most of the bloatware using Titanium Backup (Root). There is a significant improvement to the battery life.

By memory, you are referring to RAM or storage space?

If RAM, bloatware takes up RAM for running applications, so removing or freezing them does free up more available RAM since Android no longer has to 'juggle' so many running services.

If storage space, yes, you do get more storage space on the system partition BUT you don't really get to use for other purposes.
