Looks like a blown up version of the N2.

To me, Note 8 is the mid range for N2 and Note 10.1.. For people who like a bigger screen than N2, but do not want something too big like Note 10.1...

I've already tried it out, it's basically more of a tablet that can make calls rather than a phone.

Great for S-Pen since you can use the menu and back button with it.
Screen looks good even with the low 189ppi.

However, please don't put it besides your ear to take phone calls or I'll go smack it off.

What? No cellular data? Think I will just stay put with my iPad for now until they have something better to offer. Having an S-Pen on this device appears to be a logical choice for a tablet of this size.

Beauty is subjective, but I find the Note 8 really ugly and cheap looking, perhaps even the ugliest looking tablet from any major manufacturer.

Looks aside, if they can give me the full functionality of everyday devices like your phone, tablet, camera, etc. I don't mind getting one. Hell, I might just skip S4 all together. I mean you ain't gonna mistaken this as an S3, are you? With it's sheer size. I just hope that this will not fry my cards again, like what the S3 did.

I also find Note 8 ugly. The design is really getting stale. Even the rumored upcoming ibg Tab 3 series is supposedly sporting the same design.

Wrong! Mine is the original thread. Even a dummy would know to check the date and time of thread creation. You must be damn blind or damn dumb to have missed that. As mentioned in the first sentence of this thread, I have checked the whole forum and there was no such thread and I definitely don't copy other people's works unless I bought it. Like what the local would put it, I'm not that "thick skinned". Furthermore, if I have known that someone would be creating a thread for this, like I knew for N3 and SGS4, I wouldn't even bother creating it. If I have created a thread for a device, you can be sure that I owned it or at the minimum intended to own one.
