Morning all, i am a current user of iphone 4 for almost 3 years and the phone battery has deteriorated with the home button going unresponsive at times and lots of laggy-ness within the phone.
i am about to jump the wagon to samsung and note 3 should be the phone i am getting due to the larger screen size, longer battery life-span, and other functions.
Is this a good jump for me? what do you guys think?

And 1 more thing, i thought of getting the no-contract note3 which is around 1048 maybe like after the launch with a credit card since i can do monthly installments but on the other hand i want to have the freebies which includes the extra battery and desktop dock badly. I am afraid that the freebies would go out of stock and there goes...
Another option is i would sign a second line with M1 or something which i think is a dumb idea since i already got a current line with starfug, should i even sign up another line just for the Note3?

for those who managed to get the pre-order via priority book this 27 Sep, the time slot is fixed by telco or you are allow to choose the best time suits you? starhub reopens the priority booking again.

1. Being an apple fan for many years, sincerely doubt u coukd survive Android...if you did, welco e.
2. Today, feeebies are with preorder. Most likely at Samsung shop you cpudl try
3. On the additional line, it depend if u had other devuce (handset or phone), it could still uses. Its only a waste if u dont use

there are only 2 slots...12pm-4pm and 4pm-8pm.

Welcome to the Club !

I jumped from iPhone 4, 4s - 5 to S4. Best decision I ever made.

It takes some time to get used to the UI and bigger screen. But once you start enjoying the FULL HD Amoled display, there's no going back.

If you are not in a hurry, you can wait out till the price drops to below 1k.

You will get used to it after 1 or 2 weeks. Is your line LTE enabled? It will be a major upgrade for u since u are jumping from iPhone 4..

Probably not, even S4's launch figures are so far away.

iPhone is loosing it's appeal to local SG customers and most developed markets around the market.

Their biggest customers now are from China, where it's viewed as a status symbol not a tech gadget or phone.

They are willing to pay nearly 2-3x the original price to secure their own set and the new color Gold is causing a major gold rush.

Apple used to lead technology wise, but now except for their processor their competitors are way ahead in every other aspect and tech savvy people or the educated slowly start to realize what they are missing on and prefer more features and technology over branding/status symbols.
