I received a call from starhub yesterday. they ask me to send them my IC photocopies and details.

Saw Sidney's HWZ review on note3, I think I will stick with black this time round.

The review white cover was stained just after few days..

Do you plan to use it fully naked for long? It's pretty obvious from the material and cutting design it will get dirty, the problem is, isit possible to be clean? Dunno yet.

Anyway I won't be looking at the back of my Note 3 after some weeks, so I'm definitely going to get the White! Black is ugly Imo, no offense lol. The faux leather design aren't for Black, it makes the phone look like fake also lol!

They're still valid sales- regardless of why the customer bought it. It doesn't really matter what their intention is.

What I mean is initial sales are high cos of resellers, later on the drop in sales is vertical cos the real buyers would have bought it from the resellers.

certain stain can be removed by "magic" sponge but the bigger problem with white is not stain but turning yellowish when exposed to UV light over a period of time. Maybe its just me but I face this issue with all white colour products, from SGP white capsule, the free PC white case fr sammy, my white UAG scout (from stormtrooper look to desert trooper), my white g shock, my white retro dial phone and my white shirt and the list goes on........This is not an issue of course if one plans to change phone yearly.

But the biggest known problem is as reported by fellow forummer here

Again this is not an issue if one is careful or use bulky kiasi case and wants to focus on aesthetic. But for "framing", black would be a better choice and does give a cleaner look when phone screen off /on standby mode. Then again, who's to judge one's colour preference, not here to impose my preference on others.

Did they ask u which plan you are signing up for? The photocopied IC request is to be submitted via online or over the counter? This seems like a weird request..seeing that there's only 3 days left for the delivery to be made.

they didnt ask what plan im going to sign up for, but i told them i want to upgrade to the $58 plan anyway. they want me to email to them through weborder@starhub.com probably due to me holding a student pass.

I believe those who ROI with Singtel should be getting sms and email notifications about the preorder appointment by today.

I was told by my colleague, Singtel will be sending out smses from 9pm onward. not sure true or not.

I'm torn as I managed to register w Singtel (and I have recontract voucher)..

But the mid-tier Starhub has 30% more data (1gb) and 50% more minutes for $1.90 less per month... (though upfront fee slightly higher).

So get it 1 day earlier or risk it and get a better plan?

Any 4G StarHub users can comment on their 4G network? (4gb vs 3gb is nice but if slow then no point).
