Sadly guys, I will be leaving this thread, as I decided to stick with my S4 and get a Note 8 instead, need larger screen for the S Pen. Hope you guys like the Note lll and priced low

If you can't decide between black and white, my suggestion is to take the black one. Reason being Samsung's weird discrimination against white screen glass, it doesn't have a laminate layer but other colours do.

The laminate layer is like a car laminated glass windscreen. When cracked/shattered, the laminate layer holds the pieces together. White screen glass doesn't have that so when you crack/shatter your glass, you are more likely to damage the LCD beneath.

Of course that doesn't mean you can't get white colour. Just hope you take good care of it

From my experience repairing cracked screens. This different manufacturing process for white colour has been going on since S2 up till S4. Don't think they will change their mind about note 3.

My guess is they will only announce the pricing after the iPhone launch (20 Sep).

Screw Apple lor, now they come out with this kind of phone and price, Samsung can rest easy and charge Note 3 higher.
