Galaxy Mega 6.3 - For those who want big screen but don't mind mid-range specs for lower price

Galaxy Mega 5.8 - For those who want big screen, don't mind without LTE for dual SIM, don't mind mid-range specs for lower price


These 5 products already cover 90% of the consumer range liao, those who just want even cheaper phones can look at the bottom range phones or previous generation flagships. Note how they are still creating and selling S3 LTE and Galaxy Note LTE (as a matter of fact, all Galaxy S (S1 to S4) have LTE variants too

Actually imo , Note 2 doesn't feel plasticky.. S4 is really undeniably plasticky. Its simply too light in the hand already.

Actually imo , Note 2 doesn't feel plasticky.. S4 is really undeniably plasticky. Its simply too light in the hand already.

ya, wary of that.
so far for those 3g sets with stamina mode, seems ok. not excellent like note 2, but still ok.

will wait for lte users to report first, since i'm waiting for my recon date.

Those who stay with Note3 will be due to S Pen? Feel that i will miss it if i ever go with other phone like HTC one max......yet its a limitation for the thickness of the device since the S pen cannot be too thin?

yup.
if i change to other phones. the actual thing i will miss is spen, other features easily have other alternatives or not a big deal breaker.

Though we’re likely more than three weeks away from the big Samsung Galaxy Note 3 unveiling, the next-gen phablet is becoming less of a question mark by the day.

Almost confirmed to sport a 5.7-inch Full HD display and pack either Snapdragon 800 or Exynos 5 Octa power, the thing is now putting its cards on the table on the battery and software front. Of course, at this point it’s never wise to have certainties, but the intel comes from fairly reliable sources, so I for one am ready to take it for granted.
Without further ado, the Galaxy Note 3 is tipped to come packing a 3,450 mAh battery and run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Shocker(s)? Not really. True, I wouldn’t have necessarily come up with that number for the ticker’s capacity, but since the smaller Note 2 is loaded with a 3,100 mAh battery, 3,450 sounds about right.


But will it also be enough? After all, autonomy is not only about size, but also things like display resolution and processing power. And boy, will the Note 3 step things up in those departments. Then again, Sammy always knows how to optimize the heck out of its software and squeeze every possible bit of battery juice, so fingers crossed, right?
And on the subject of software, let’s say it’s not all too surprising the Note 3 is expected to come with Android 4.3 pre-loaded. What will be much more interesting to see is how close to “vanilla” will the latest and coolest version of Google’s OS look. I wouldn’t get my hopes up, but who knows, maybe we’ll at least get a Google Edition of the Note 3 at some point.


All done? Not quite. Today’s rumor extravaganza couldn’t be complete sans an unintentional confirmation of the Note 3’s existence, courtesy of Samsung SideSync. Available in Samsung’s App Store, that particular app, which very neatly synchronizes your smartphone to a PC, has a list of supported devices which surprise, surprise includes the Note 3. Uh-oh, sounds like someone will get the boot.

Sammobile seem to have a new update on Note 3. It seems that the exynos octa-core variant will not support LTE again like the S4 exynos. I assume samsung has not found a way for it to support worldwide LTE network except their own country? Even though it stated the the CPU is unconfirmed, it could be the Snapdragon 800 with Adreno 330 GPU like what previous reports have stated, and the Snapdragon 800 variant will be the device to own if you want LTE. Another interesting thing is that the battery life is stated as 3200 mAH
