Exynos 5420 is the newer version of Exynos 5 Octa which is powered by 4x Cortex A15 @ 1.8GHz paired with 4x Cortex A7 @ 1.3GHz

i prefer the SN 800 at 2.2 or 2.3 more than the exyynos octa lor.
coz i feel the octa is just gimmick

It seems that Samsung is dropping the 16gb base model. So the base model for note 3 starts at 32Gb internal.

the octa is not a gimmick. it's just that it's not working as intended.

anyway i don't care which cpu is inside. confirm fast.

i just want the wolfson dac. knn tie up already then only put them in the octa s4.

Yes. I also hope they release the dual SIM model internationally. Wonder why Samsung releases high end dual SIM model only in China.

You have to know why the Exynos 5 Octa is created in such a way.

Cortex A15 trash Krait 300 cores in performance by a lot but it's power consumption is also whooping a lot.

That's why every of the A15 core is paired with a A7 core. If a task requires a clock speed at 1.3GHz or less, it's being processed by the A7 core which only take little power. Only when it needs to go beyond 1.3GHz then it will switch to A15.
