Just came back from the Note3 workshop.

The S Pen Air Command is damn impressively intelligent.

The interface is very new so users should attend these workshops to get productive quickly.

Apple's way is keep it simple for simple tasks but very tedious if you want to do more.

Samsung's way is to keep it intelligent and at your convenience( big screen). The more you learn, the more powerful you get. Of course you could keep it simple like a touch-phone and still be at the same level as iPhone.

That's true, even till now, after 2 weeks, I'm still in dilemma. I might eventually sell away my Note 8 if I got Note 3. If not my Note 3 will be useless tech for all those functions.

Video playback, as much as I love watching on my Note 8, I still find it okay to watch my Note 2, easier to handle while on trains/bus. Might find times having difficulties using Note 8 when I received messages like Whatsapp etc, due to the fact that I'm holding Note 8, I'll end up having to use Note 2 with 1 hand, which is almost impossible, tried for 3 days of actual usage.

Today, I switched back to S4 + Note 8, it's so much better, having to use S4 with 1 hand at ease, but sometimes I felt kind of crumbled up to hold them together, thus my thoughts gave me Note 3 solo usage again haha, this is like never ending cycles!

In the end, unless one use Note 8 strictly for writing wise, I believe it's still better to use only 1 device.
I was using note 2 initial.
Then s4 + note 8 as bubby
now xperia ultraa + note 8.
Next wk, note 3 + note 8.

i guess note 3 could replace all..but written on a bigger pad still helps.

wat's the diff between smartsurf HD & just smartsurf plans? i using 3g plan now every month paying about $38 so if i switch to note 3 , i gotta use micro sim right? then which plan will that convert into?

Get the Samsung GALAXY Note 3 with StarHub Mobile!

not sure u know how to read and see the difference or not... but it's super obvious that hd plans are all unlimited SMS and unlimited outgoing local calls. the difference within the hd plans are the bundled data cap.

whereas, normal smartsurf plans have varying free SMS and outgoing local calls. and also varying data cap. however, normal smartsurf plans have higher data cap compared to hd plans.

if u want to maintain same amount of subscription charges... then you should know which plan it corresponds to.

Anyone spotted any lag for the Note 3? Like the stutter in S4

The S4's snapdragon 600 is a beast but I also still see lags and shutters here and there due to touchwiz.

so far, video reviews about note 3 on youtube showed smooth interface mostly but still with very small occasional shutters. can live with it

Aiyo, even iProducts also have stutter. Now somtimes i click my iPod Touch also sometimes hang for 3-4secs, or sometimes don't even work until i quit app, close it then reopen then ok. from S3 onwards it's pretty fast le, if you cannot live with the occassional lag then don't need to own smartphone liao :zotto:

Re

Me too. Damn impressed with the S Pen Air Command. Its better integrated with multi-window too. FI, I hardly use the S Pen in my Note 2. Shy to say not sure how to use also. I believe I'll use the S Pen in Note 3 leow

Also, with JB 4.3, applications now can be moved to SD card (if movable)

:D

S2 trade in with Telco, 100-150.
As next year there will be "note 4", it would not be surprise that it will drop to the same range
