Yes, indeed long time no see!! Have been busy.

I went thru a Xperia Z for 3-4 weeks. It was a very nice sleek phone, but I just couldn't handle the screen size, or the UI... lol

Damn you, Samsung, for making TouchWiz so full of features!!

So u still have ur note when u tried Xpz?

I had to hide my wallet fr HTC one, struggled with the thought of not being able to swap batt, no Spen etc but thankfully the gap issue and poor customer service at nex stopped me :s13:

My note 2 vibration just went dead....will be my 2nd time sending in for servicing....hope note 3 doesnt mean i need to send in 3 times :s22::o

i am expecting dec. Or AT LEAST later than note 2 bah. IIRC note 2 was arnd sept. But they gonna announce note3 during sept so high chance later than sept launch. hopefully with so many months left to launch, they can manufacture enough components and stocks for global launch.

OMG? december ? SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LONG MEHZXXZCX

S4 was launched earlier. Could Note 3 launch be earlier as well? To combat launch of new iphones?

After seeing everyone in Iris 2 using Note 2 now even more gian for Note 3. :s13: Just hope the housing is not too much bigger than Note 2. Personally I'm okay with the reduced bezel.

And hopefully samsung make the phone 64gb and above for memory as standard capacity. 16gb is jus too miserable if they r hard on restricting us to transfer any apps to sd card. And I dun really like to resort to rooting jus for that reason alone.

i prefer them to keep it to 16gb, just enough for the games onboard.
the rest of the media or whatever, i prefer to keep on my own 32 or 64 ext card.
that way it is much more transferable.

I believe Samsung is working on a few designs for the Note 3 and as such need time to confirm the design. Because of this, in all probability, it will only be release 5 to 6 months down the road.

Additionally, it will probably not feature a flexible screen as the Note 3 size will be big (5.99"?) and Samsung will probably attempt the flexible screen on a smaller device first.

Yes, I kept it just in case I could not get used to Sony's new phone. And I was right.

The reason I chose to buy a non-swappable battery phone was relatively simple: it has to have a reason. The Xperia Z had 2. Submersible and dust-proof. :D

Strange that you have to repair the vibration module twice..... seldom happen.

U may wanna check this out http://deluxeforums.hardwarezone.com.sg/76050721-post6425.html ;) Not sure about submersible but does looks impressive for water resistance capability..

first time i send for service was coz i noticed a chip at the edge of my screen...now ish suspect i damaged the vibration module due to small scale drop test of my case from sofa height :o

Before your warranty runs out, ask them to give you a new unit.

the Xperia Z was definitely submersible up to a certain depth for 10 minutes or so.... vouch for with personal testing results. :D

I tried asking for a new unit when i first send in for screen glass chip, but they did not give in to my "request". I am okay as long as the repair can last me till the next device.

I did noticed that sammy does not require warranty card as long as production date is within a year.

So u got Jacuzzi huh? :s13:
