I think If you have Note 3, no point getting Note 8 cos the size is rather close. Put yourself in different situations where you will carry both or one only one of them and see what kinda convenience and inconvenience you will encounter.

Now i have Nexus 7 i don't see myself getting a 10" tablet unless it's something different, e.g. a Note 10.1 so the stylus actually made it possible to do something productive. The thing is u already have Note 10.1 lol.

If i were you, i will get Note 3, have a normal 7 or 8 inch tablet and keep the Note 10.1, then get a couple of spare batteries for your Note 3.

Bro 5.7inch and 8 inch different alot! Haha I'm side by side my Note ll and Note 8, the difference very significant! Maybe Nexus 7 and Note 8 have little, but Note lll and Note 8 confirm alot.

Anyway, I also find myself can't really use a Note 8 comfortably on trains...

27th and 900 to 1 k...trade in S4 550 to 600...:D

Trade in S4 value not bad, now sell 2nd hand also only max $650, hopefully Singtel also can trade in for $600, even $500 also okay, save alot of trouble selling!

Eh ok maybe haha. But i would say, cos when sometimes go out you just wanna bring 1 device with you and Note 3 will cover you pretty well in terms of size and functionality.

those worried about duplicity and redundancy of multiple devices can see it from this point of view maybe...

it used to be a smart phone + tablet +
now it can be phablet + tablet/laptop (eg surface pro etc)

so if carrying a phablet, maybe pair it with a tablet/laptop device.

We can only try our best to give our opinions but still need them to fully understand their usage patterns and needs to bring the full use out of each of them.

not going to preorder. if anything buy from malaysia should be cheaper. and warranty claims just a causeway away.

going to wait for full specs and teardown. want to know if the snapdragon will now come with wolfson dac, although highly unlikely. otherwise going to wait for exynos with LTE.

Glad to see that sammy or perhaps wacom finally supplying extra nibs for Spen, not that all note users ever wear off their S pen nib or even use Spen.

W0bCgVO.jpg

good observation. ;) when i saw this ,i thought what's that?....

nw i knew it , nice from samsung :)

Hopefully the extra nibs provided is not an indication that the note 3's Spen nib wear off easily coz i had a hard time doing so for Note 1 & 2 :o

Curious to know if it be similar as Note 10.1's coz xda users noted that the extra nib for 10.1 was of different material (rubber material while the original was "plastic") Hope 10.1 users here can help to verify.

anyway here's referencing 10.1 and Wacom on how to change the nib

A big improvement on the Note III is the capacitive Menu and Back buttons, which now work with the S Pen. The only S Pen navigation problem that remains is the hardware home button, which is still extremely awkward to use with the stylus. The original Note 10.1 had on-screen buttons, which worked flawlessly and made sense with the S Pen. It's just very odd that Samsung wants you to use the pen all the time but doesn't make the most-used button (Home) work with its stylus.

if Note III arrived later than 20th, sure many ppl (those not fan boy for either brand) will pick up 5s/c @20th, regardless which is better, but who is faster.

why take so long to just confirm the date ah???? product not ready is it?:s11::s11::s11:
