Honestly speaking. When tested the s23u. The camera is a bit underwhelming as compared to the p7p.

Not just muddy output, the shutter lag is something not great if you gonna photograph kids or pets running around. Or perhaps a fast moving object.

Another point is, even the current zoom quality, it has more room to improve on sharpening. It's rather soft as compared to p7p.

If you are buying the s23u just for the camera. You will be disappointed that the p7p does better.

So don't make camera as your buying decision. You will wanna keep the p7p instead. But do consider things like, faster storage, faster SoC, faster ram and better screen over on s23u. Basically the pros outweigh the cons if you choose to go over to the s23u.

I'm certainly keeping the p7p till the next line up arrives. Or perhaps the better sd8g2+ arrives at the 3/4 of this year. Or perhaps iphone 15 decides to push out a newer and better SoC.

There is a goodlock setting u can enable to have fast shutter lag, but will reduce the HDR quality
But all ur photos will not be blur

I sold my S22U for Pixel7Pro, and now switching back to S23U. Hopefully won't regret la. Haha. As my main reason to switch is on the camera zoom, phone customization and battery life

Finally got my S23 Ultra 512GB in Graphite!

Went to paste matte film on the screen at MobileHardware and it's a nice fit. I had Whitestone on my S21 Ultra but I hated the fingerprints over time fingerprint sensor is much more sensitive when your fingers or thumbs is wet or when it's very dry. Got a cheap case to use while waiting for my dbrand case to arrive.

Do they have/sell clear film protector? Like those Oppo/OnePlus factory pasted one? Clear kind instead of matte one.

Got myself the Whitestone protector for $59.90.

The same chiobu who applied for me my s22ultra was applying the sp on my s23ultra.

Got 2 ladies there. I lucky the chiobu attended to me.

When I was leaving, another customer came asking if they have sp for s23ultra.

I recommend going this store. Got chiobu and their sp applying skills are good.

Walked down a little bit down and there is a store selling SPIGEN cases. Got 1 for $29.

Now charging my new phone. Then doing overnight data transfer from s22ultra to s23ultra.
