No wonder check so carefully, my trade in only $20 :ROFLMAO:
Mine also $20 trade-in only but that guy took more than 5 mins to check on phone, take photo of himself front and back :s22:
I prepare to paynow CompAsia $20 if they decided condition not good enough but I think pass lah, since I received email from them said phone collected and didn't mention need to pay them any $$

Local set is a pre-requisite.. if you fail the IMEI input part, means its export set. you cant even proceed on..

Power on is a must.. And also cannot be 'locked phone' / stolen phone..

Crack, shatter, scratches is fine..
To add to this, IMEI verification is done when buying phone online not when trading in.

Lol, maybe that person too free, $20 also waste time checking for so long.

wrong. there's a declaration that device is not modified/repaired. if you sway they can throw the phone back at you then you are stuck with a useless phone and overpriced s23
I did checked back the seven declaration pointers out of curiosity but I did not see a quote mentioning about modified/repaired. Can you share where was it?

Anyone using ANC earbuds?
Pairing with Samsung earbud works better than other brands?
Using it with my Samsung Buds Pro (Gen 1). Happy with the audio quality.

Technically Samsung buds have some codecs which are proprietary to Samsung devices if i am not mistaken. I personally think the sound quality is not bad, but if you like more bass in your music, Sony ones might be a better choice.

I'm getting it more for flight use
Then saw some web article say samsung phone & earbud can utilize their unique protocol

The Sony earbuds cost around same as Samsung
If its good then maybe worth a try
I suggest you go try out to see which buds fit your ear better. There are many aspects to take note, ear shape and your audio preference.

I am ok with the audio quality on Samsung Buds Pro 2 (tested at SES). Trying to find a chance to try out the latest Sony ones as a comparison.

hi, how long does one full charge* last you (aga aga?)

*85% (since that is the recommended limit by Samsung)
1st charge, lasted me about 2.5 days. Light usage (WhatsApp and a few calls, about 3hrs Screen on Time).

common practice from compasia to inspect carefully part of the trade in tasks when collect
Sounds like they are quite anal?

My note 20 ultra has one small black dot at the corner of the screen but is otherwise is a perfect condition (all stickers still on).

Declared as screen functioning properly (the description said screen can power on, see no lines, discoloration etc. No mention of dots or anything else. Wonder if compasia will deduct and if have anyway to dispute with samsung.

Any experience with compasia imposing higher standards than what was described on the samsung website and deducting?

Samsung outsource the trade up to compasia .. they do not have say in it.. you can reject the final quotation if you are un happy with the final price maybe due to superficial scratches or marks.... thats up to compasia as they are a business afterall. You or them have the final say to proceed or not.

If in good condition, maybe they clean up and sell overseas for $100. Still money made.
Of course, in fact I think worth more than that if good condition.

The overtrade $$ (500 or less) is by Samsung so that's mainly driving the sales.

Hmm but the trade in quotation and description in the questionnaire should be binding no? Presumably samsung and compasia would have reviewed that questionnaire?

Eg the description for physical damage is 6 scratches and above, compasia can't deduct if there is only 1 scratch?

I think you and I both know reject is not an option, what with the possibility of losing the 500 overtrade
