however, i remember some apple users also faced slowing down and battery after so long.

Or who knows, they wanted people to buy new phones. The Fold 7, S26 Ultra and so on
Not really. Apple has always very good hw and os integration, whereas android hw and os are managed separated.

Anyway, I'm quite disappointed only ui7 and the phone is sluggish and power hog. Dunno if it is ui7 not fully optimized or what. Can't imagine ui8's impact. Haha.

One UI 7 I think is really optimized for s25 series. It's buttery smooth on s25 snapdragon elite chipset and battery life is also ok. Tried one UI 7 on z fold 6 using 8 gen 3 and it's not as smooth.

Apple admitted that they slowed down the processor and got sued

few months back I read the battery health from samsung battery health check using some codes. it showed 98% or 96%. Accubattery showed 89%.

Here's how:

*[Extensive Guide]*Check Your battery Health and Cycle Count on Samsung Devices

I have Checked Mine,
88% battery Health and 462 battery cycle count; bad for 1.4 year S23 i would say :)
Step 1: Dial *#9900# It will open SysDump (If the code is not working turn off Auto Blocker and Try again)
Step 2: Tap on Run dumpstate/logcat ( It will take 2-3 minutes be patient wait until its done, click ok after its done)
Step 3: Tap on Copy to sdcard(include CP Ramdump) ( Wait until done, click ok afterwards now you can close the menu)
Step 4: Now go to PlayStore and Install LogLog App
Step 5: Open the app click the bottom right corner icon go to your Internal storage there will be folder named log
, Go inside the folder scroll till you find file named dumpState_S911 tap it. (Note if your are confused here that S911 after dumpState_ is my model number. In your case your modelnumber will be there so its like dumpState_<yourModelNumber> hope you got it.)
Step 6: When inside the log file there will be a search option on top Search mSavedBatteryAsoc
Thats it mSavedBatteryAsoc will show your Battery percentage and mSavedBatteryUsages will tell your Battery cycle count. The number shown in BatteryUsages will be like 33248 you can take it as 332.48 battery cycle count.

tried this
mSavedBatteryAsoc : 95
mSavedBatteryUsage: 91905

does it mean it is 95% health and 919.05 battery count?

i used the phone for slightly over 2 years.

i usually charge to 80% full. almost always SuperFast Charge 1.0/2.0 but never use wireless charging.

Can i change to new battery before my warranty is up? I took their extended warranty

ohh. means they have a policy that if your battery drops below at certain threshold cannot change? Mine last check last week was 99%, which I was quite surprised.
Should be. 90%+ means the battery is still good. Unless the service contact allows unconditional battery replacement, they will not change it for free.

I think I will avoid Samsung Flagship products. Seem didint improve after S22 Green/Pink line issue.
Last time bought Huawei, very good phone. I used for more than 4 years.
But Huawei no google service, jump to Samsung.
But Samsung screen is an issue. To repair it, not very worth..
Flagship model, not worth for the price.

I agree for flagship price Samsung should do better, it should not have so many physical issues. I'm almost in 3 year usage on s23 ultra, the back already falling off, and this is the 2nd time.

This year I am considering to get a new phone, but I don't think i am getting another Samsung.

I am currently still looking around, I cant even get apple because it has little to no interoperability, and even if it has the respective apps on apple are usually half-baked with half features. I have lots of stuff tied to Google and Microsoft account, but apple device will want apple account.
