Reviews are meant to be used as a reading or viewing material. The deciding factor will be on own individual.
Like gaming for an instances. Are you going to push the phone to it's absolute limit? Are you going to game all day all night with it? If so then you probably looking at the wrong phone also lol.
Are you going to be everyday staring into the numbers of Geekbench, or any other synthetic benchmarks and go around doing d!ck measurement contest?
Either way let it be a reminder that reviewers are there to guide you. But not your purchasing decision. Cause those reviewers will never know your use case scenario.
Imho, I do feel s24u is a bit too warm to the touch. I suspect highly due to the CPU configuration. Across all the 8 cores, sd8g3 clocked much higher than the Exynos 2400.
Where by exynos 2400 in favour of slightly lower clocks but with additional 2 more efficient cores.
On paper the Exynos 2400 should be better. Whereby sd8g3 is just boosting of frequency to compensate the lower core count.
In all the performance are roughly the same. In the reviewers itself did mentioned that, certain applications or games do run better on sd8g3 or exynos 2400. Whether it is efficient or not for day to day use or standby time. That got to wait for a better review.
And lastly go with what you will use. Like I forsee people will buy the s24u more for its bigger screen. Or rather bigger screen is a buying factor over performance.
