Remind me of the umidigi phone I bought. A lot of problems. Lucky I quickly refund via lazada within the period.

The s6 lite wifi selling at amazon for $321. Not sure whether it is worth the extra $100 without lte. Benchmark like very close although s6 lite using snapdragon. Any thoughts?

I also thought that way when i bought it, but then it died on me. Think maybe QC not good? I tried to contact them and they said its likely motherboard issue and must change mother board, cost $150.

Maybe i am the unlucky one.

The QC is hit and miss lar... my mother's iPlay20 from Alldocube still ok mah... she uses it quite heavily for videos and reading... Probably 2 years old by now... using only a low end Spreadtrum processor but good enough for her...

Interesting. Actually those china tablets also using the chips used in Tab A8 (Eg t618 ) . And I guess many parts too. So wondering what happen.
And I kinda think that samsung use many of the same china parts and just put its name in it?

Can be everything identical but the Samsung will still cost more... cos they pay more for the better lot of the chips that are used... it's like speed binning... same Unisoc T618 but whether it pass the QC, where it tests, etc... all these affect the cost... how much QC testing is done on the circuit board, assembly quality, repeated pressing of buttons, etc... these steps of QC cost a lot of money... so that's the difference between Samsung and Alldocube...

One is A range, the other is S range... I think the difference of $100 is quite indicative of the quality difference and hence different segment of buyers will shop each tablet... unlikely to overlap cos $100 is about 50% of the cost of the Tab A8... if you're shopping for the Tab A8, then you either don't care about the quality that much or you're at the end of your budget limit and stretching it... Samsung's strategy in selling tablets doesn't just cover Singapore but the whole world, especially in developing nations where the Samsung brand name has immense cachet even for an entry level tablet...

This is an established reputable shop selling Korean versions of Samsung tablets at low prices... I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1" 2019 from them... tablet is very nice and still going strong... just the screen is not as good...

Yah so I considered unlucky I guess. I was hoping it will last at least 2 yrs.

Anyway I bought xiaoxin pad and tab a8 for the kids as replacement. So let's see how point these last. But build quality is much better , though a8 screen not as good I feel.

The iPad 9 performs much better than s6 lite in terms of antutu scores no? Since price is $50 diff I would get iPad 9

same for iPad Air 4 , the A14 chip is much better than the SD778 isnt it? If price the same I would go for iPad Air 4.

What i meant is the androids I bought recently la . they were not the flagship models and I gave it to my kids. I can't compare the top tier apple vs an entry android what.
I bought the first Samsung tab s donkey years ago and it was awesome. I dont think s7 fe is super amoled screen? Love that product till I retired it for iPad.

I am not an apple fanboy. I am happy with both and use both.

Depends a lot on what you want to do with them right? If just viewing or streaming videos then both will be good... if just surfing the internet, either also will do... but for productivity which requires you to organize files and content, then I feel the Tab S7 FE is better...
