Actually if u want snappy, forget about android. You will never have that smoothness even if u pump 8/12gb ram. iPad is the way to go. If you don’t mind lagging, those 6gb tablet is the minimum
Actually iPad also lag lar... it's just less... and also cos the way the iPad is set up where multitasking is concerned, it allows less memory to be used up and hence it always seems smoother... there are trade offs... just that most Apple users don't see what they're trading the smoother interface for... since it doesn't affect them, of course it's also moot... but users who value the flexibility of the Android system, then it matters... you can have very smooth user interface on Android if you restrict what your tablet can do, including keeping apps in memory etc... but that's not what I want... or many Android users may want... so different strokes for different folks lar...

It's not going to be much better with 1 GB RAM more... unless you set up the tablet to disallow many of the convenience like holding apps in memory, etc... if it's really to use for only one purpose like act as a POS device then the user experience will be much better even with the old Lenovo M10 Gen 2...

Android is good only for open system. I use my android for chapalang application. Surf whatever I want, and install whatever I want etc. Apple I only use it for my banking, share trading etc.

It's better optimized I guess... and does this tablet have GMS? Tablets are much smoother without the monster GMS in the background though... but Huawei does put in a lot of effort to optimize their devices and the corresponding OS and so it shows clearly... if not for the US ban, I expect Huawei would have superseded Samsung and be on par with Apple where optimization is concerned...

I honestly can't get used to the iOS way of doing things... it's so illogical that I gave up... that's why I embraced Android...

I use both but I buy a reasonable cheap android tablet. The trade off is slow but the open source allows me to watch free tv or pay a bit to watch good content. I think quite value for money

IMHO.
I felt like I have not embraced Android but OneUI. 🤔
Cos you only use Samsung... honestly it's been iterated for more than 10 years and it shows... it's one of the most logical and polished UI for Android... MI UI isn't as good although it is more flexible than OneUI... Lenovo's UI is almost stock Android with a sprinkling of proprietary enhancements... which is very welcome... cos stock Android doesn't make sense... don't understand why people like stock Android... plenty of convenience lost...

Looks like I have been poisoned deep. 🤣 Maybe Samsung should overlay OneUI over Harmony OS. 🤣
