wah isn't that good. I haven't charged my tablet yet as it is still in the midst of setting up but based on my S22U and my understanding of PPS protocol, it usually slows down when the battery is past a certain temperature. Maybe the tablet due to it's size can radiate heat off better hence it can charge at higher rates for longer.
May I just clarify if you have a ammeter that showed the charging speed or just based on the device stating SFC 2.0?
If it is the latter, the wattage fluctuates but will constantly show SFC 2.0 doesn't mean it is full 45W speed.
It's nice that it's charging quickly but I'm a little concern over the temperature. It's about as warm or warmer than a Switch after gaming for a good 2~3 hours (not the heat at the exhaust vent, just touching the back cover). It charge really quick though, from 20~85% is under an hour!
Yes, I am using a USB-C power meter. The weird part is that is charging constantly just under 40W (about 37~39W). I can start charging from under 20%, under 50% or above 60% but it will still charge at the rate of a little under 40W. Why I said it's weird is because from what I found on the internet, if the charger and cable couldn't hit the 45W (10V@4.5A) requirement then it will default to the next level of 30W (or 20W, I can't really remember). I know the power meter will grab some juice, but up to 5W difference? That's quite a bit. Currently waiting for a second power meter to arrive so I can cross reference the results.
Any chance I can trouble any of you who can do 45W charging and have a power meter can help to test and share your finding please? Thanks! :3
