I think the demand at preorder was definitely was higher than expected. But Samsung should have limited the preorder based on what they can supply. It is funny that people that preordered got their order fulfilled later than those that bought after preorder from other shops.
Ya lo I'm so disappointed. No new tab no lucky box. Paying for something that i not yet received.

At this point, since you want to hold on to the order for the price and preorder goodies, my best advise is try not to think about it. I mean there is really nothing much that you can do. But the more you think about it, it just makes the waiting seems longer and you getting frustrated. Especially when you know that it may not happen that soon.

Anybody knows how to hide that Grey line at the top of the screen that indicates pulling down for notifications?

Are you using the s7+ version? I have that but yet to use
yes. it is the same mah the keyboard. I did research on it before buying it. It works lah but some people experience this issue back on the S7+ also. Anyway going down to Samsung tomorrow to let them sort it out.

Need some advice. Thinking of selling away my ultra keyboard case and getting a normal Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to offset the price of paying for the ultra. Probably can fetch at least $400 second hand?
What do you think?

if you're simply gonna use your tablet at home or in the office permanently desked where there's always access to a bluetooth keyboard, then yea sure.

Otherwise it's largely people who are using the tab outside or away from work/home desks who would find the keyboard cover useful.

Point taken. Normally I wouldn't want to bring the keyboard with me on the go, unless I know I will be doing some work. I think the BT keyboards nowadays are quite portable, so should be fine I guess.

I generally don’t like Bluetooth keyboards. 1, you need to keep it charged up separately. 2, it is prone to interference which can result in unreliable connection and spoil the experience. I mean it is your personal preference, but I feel the keyboard case makes the tablet almost into a laptop that is nice to have.

I think majority of stocks are with Telco's first as they have put in a large order before they launch the presales.

I just put in my order with SingTel s8+, delivery is on the 24th.

Anybody gotten their Tab from telco; have you manage to redeem upon delivery?

wah isn't that good. I haven't charged my tablet yet as it is still in the midst of setting up but based on my S22U and my understanding of PPS protocol, it usually slows down when the battery is past a certain temperature. Maybe the tablet due to it's size can radiate heat off better hence it can charge at higher rates for longer.

May I just clarify if you have a ammeter that showed the charging speed or just based on the device stating SFC 2.0?

If it is the latter, the wattage fluctuates but will constantly show SFC 2.0 doesn't mean it is full 45W speed.
It's nice that it's charging quickly but I'm a little concern over the temperature. It's about as warm or warmer than a Switch after gaming for a good 2~3 hours (not the heat at the exhaust vent, just touching the back cover). It charge really quick though, from 20~85% is under an hour!

Yes, I am using a USB-C power meter. The weird part is that is charging constantly just under 40W (about 37~39W). I can start charging from under 20%, under 50% or above 60% but it will still charge at the rate of a little under 40W. Why I said it's weird is because from what I found on the internet, if the charger and cable couldn't hit the 45W (10V@4.5A) requirement then it will default to the next level of 30W (or 20W, I can't really remember). I know the power meter will grab some juice, but up to 5W difference? That's quite a bit. Currently waiting for a second power meter to arrive so I can cross reference the results.

Any chance I can trouble any of you who can do 45W charging and have a power meter can help to test and share your finding please? Thanks! :3

Adding on, there are some reports of the keyboard cover cracking the screen of their tablets. Shouldn't be an issue if you have a screen protector on, but it's something worth noting imo

If you don't mind waiting, can try Mokibo. I got the Universal size and it works fine. Haven't mess around much with the gesture tho. I don't use the keyboard much either so I rather keep it separated from my tablet. And if it's anything similar to the first version in terms of battery, it will last pretty much forever on standby when you don't use it
