Samsung Oreo 8.0 update

Don't really need what Oreo offers really... nothing particularly ground breaking... at Nougat offered multi-screen apps which was highly useful...

Why so anxious? The update will come so just be patient. Some news sites cite an update to be released in late Feb or early Mar.

Relax you are really not going to notice the difference between the update. Nothing major really. And from the trend of things, Singapore is likely getting it in.. Feb or March.

I think update is only for S8 and S8+. Note 8 yet to release.

Up till now,i still got no updates from my S8+

Note 8 ones have been released in the US and many other countries for the unlocked version. A handful of them posted in Reddit.

Yet here we are, still rocking Nougat

I think update is only for S8 and S8+. Note 8 yet to release.

My S8+ received the 8.0 download when I click on manual update two days ago.

The update rolls out progressively. If you are holding onto a S8 or S8+ just check for updates while under wifi at least once a day. You will get it soon enough.

Nice...im not yet to recieve it...bought my phone from the official samsung store,does it affect any updates like that?

My wife's phone was bought in Cambodia. She got the OTA update last night. Only 400+ MB. Android version is 8.0.0. My own Note 8 hasn't been updated yet... no sign of it yet... probably end April as indicated in the Note 8 thread by insiders.
