As of 6 April 2018 the oreo update with samsung experience 9.0 for singtel has been released on my phone.and if you all are wondering the update is around 1400mb

Oreo update for Note8 SG will be release on end Apr. It should be similar to Oreo on the S8 instead of S9 lol. There are some SW features which are S9 exclusive at the moment.

AR Emoji and instant translate on Bixby Vision.

Not to sure... But I saw S9 has something like instant translate on the Bixby Vision. Point at the menu or some document and Bixby Vision will translate to your preferred language instantly.

funny when oreo update comes first to s8 and not note8 when the latter released in sept. hmm .. the waiting game ..

I got my update to Oreo 8.0.0 early this morning. The update is about 1.3GB and takes a while to complete.

Not sure what new features are inside though. Will need to explore it. Icons look a bit different from before.

Then probably your device has a corrupted software update file. Can try clearing cache at recovery menu, or go service centre use their laptop self service..

I asked the Samsung people. They said it's released in batches. Anyone here who is also on Singtel but yet to get? Please share. =)

no need reset unless got major issue which is random...

You probably just need to clear cache after updating..

Main thing is battery life. Any improvements? Will not upgrade if oreo makes it worse

I did a search about the battery life and found quite a bit of post saying about bad battery life after update. Will observe a while before deciding to update.
