I used to use bank card to take bus, then one month no use, can't use. now get Samsung pay points each time top up $10 to ezlink, better

I also used POSB everyday credit card as my ezlink card. Sometimes a few months never used still ok.

Hi renfred,

Saw your post in the apple pay forum saying that you can add the MasterCard registered in ABT under the transit portion in samsung pay. Can share how you do it? I'm currently using nfc sim also. Don't see the option to add the MasterCard into the transit section.

The annoying part is when my device keeps beeping on the cards when they are wrongfully placed below the phone.. other than that, my nfc is on because of the nfc ezlink transit..

transit option in Samsung pay is for NFC Sim ez-link.. don't think it applies to MasterCard ABT..

Try google for mastercard transit mobile payment. It can be used for apple pay, samsung pay and android pay. But must go register at any one of the 3 mrt stations. Only remember cityhall is one of them. Saw the poster before but forgot the exact details. Pai seh. Or are you not talking about this? :s13:

You can visit the apple forum for more details on the registration and setting up of mobile wallet on ABT portal. I shall not share more in this section to avoid confusion, since this is still a trial phase with limited users.

To answer your question, so long the mobile device is registered successfully, samsung pay should have a section for you to choose, "select payment card", then it will prompt you to select default NFC option, which you should choose android operating system, then samsung pay will take over the transit portion for tap and go without authentication.

Currently, samsung pay for nfc ezlink sim card offers a platform for you to see the details, but does not interfere with payment. meaning with or without samsung pay, you still can tap the nfc ezlink sim card.

Just saw it. Save 800 points but means one shot must spend $20, which isn't hard la at cold storage.

Anyone has issues with Abt using samsung pay? Sometimes the machine just can't read my phone.
