Yeah they hv the smart chip reader below the keypad but the magnetic strip reader at the side. I tried to tap on top of the magnetic strip reader but failed. Should I tap from the side of the MS reader?

well if u understand what is MST, then you should be able to understand your question.

of cos at MS reader lah.. aiyo

After setting up Samsung pay, my battery life has been taking a hit.. Looking at GSam stats, Samsung pay framework is using 0.9% of my overall battery ranking at #4 on my list even more than Google services

I'll try to turn off simple pay as I've already removed all the cards from simple pay and even hibernate pay and framework but it would wake itself everytime.
Let's see if I disable all the 3 options and see what happens

perhaps u can turn of NFC and rely on simple pay to activate the NFC when needed.

LOL. MS reader is of course the swiping slot where they swipe. how on earth can that be at other location? obvious the slot where they insert the card for the emv chip will not work, is there any other locations i missed out? :D:D

i think you better practise at self checkout counters first bah.. :D:D

I want to be nice but I cannot for this case when my friends tried to help you. Samsung pay gave you tutorial on how to use when you select which card to use to pay. Never take note? Or just the usual.. Skip all tutorials and instruction cause I'm a pro but if I mess up I'll blame everyone or anyone.

Have you even tried to find a solution yourself? Have you even tried to understand or look into the guides within the app. Heck if you actually pay attention to the tutorials you would not even be in this situation and even come to suan my friend.

Next time really just Google can find answer on how, Samsung has alot of photos with so many machines on how to use NfC and MST. Even within the app.

Tried self checkout at fairprice. Failed 4 times. 5th time then pass. For those who gotten the the free wireless charger last week, is it available on 00:00 sharp?

Wah lao. U so hardcore. I was planning to do so also.. hahas.

Fairprice compatibility is a known issue. I have opened a case with Samsung pay support and then they closed it quoting they are absolutely aware and is seeking resolution to the issue for now. So let's just avoid fairprice for now, or at least don't force the machine to use Samsung pay for now.. hahas

Challenger refuses to accept saying the boss won't allow. What crap. A technological based store refusing to move with the latest in technology.

If you are referring to MST, it's possible the POS does not currently support tokenization and requires a software upgrade. While NFC uses tokenization as well, it works differently from MST but the tokenization concept is similar. I think it'll take some time for most of the non-NFC POS here to complete the software upgrade but we will get there, hopefully sooner than later.
