If I use samsung pay for bus/mrt fare, is the price the same as ezlink? Like it's deduced based on distance.

Also I haven't set my samsung pay as transit card, but I'm already able to use it to tap in bus. So what's the point of setting it as transit card?

Yes, same fare.

You can tap on the bus or mrt reader with your phone screen off if you set the card on samsung pay as transit card. If not you have to open the app, select your card and tap. You can earn points when paying with samsung pay. The points can be used to redeem vouchers and other items.

Samsung rewards really very weird, awfully chocolate so few shops shouldn't promo, worst is breadtalk, after redeem then was told at NorthPoint outlet cannot use coz can only use at few outlets.

Maybe hard for them to find businesses to do join promo also. :s13:

My guess most promo are for the shops due to bad business
