Anyone has success adding a foreign credit card to Samsung Pay? I tried adding my Chase card (which according to Chase's site, is supported under Samsung Pay), but Samsung Pay says it is not supported.

You can do a self check at your Samsung pay app. Go to Notices -> [Generals] Supported Cards

Agreed. Physical card, if you lose it, people can still use it to pay. Samsung Pay still need your fingerprint for authentication. I've even tried using the virtual card number for online payment, somehow didn't get thru either, next time might try on overseas merchant (if there is good promotions).

Samsung Pay is the same as swiping a credit card on the terminal. Unless there's a specific promotion on Samsung Pay, otherwise the normal earning rates will apply.
