end of the day what are you actually looking for this trip for samui / phuket.

for beach resort to relax and away from city life? how many days? budget?

Clear water, white sand, water sports and or explore nature. May island hop. Budget 2k for 5 days for 2 pax.
Focus into Thai..

My I suggest you to do 2 days Hua Hin 2 days Bkk. Land at Bkk rent a car drive down to Hua hin. Go stay at a nice resort enjoy the resort and sight seeing.

Back to Bkk return the car and go enjoy the food and massage.

Just my suggestion.

Hua hin beach not that nice, Koh Chang better. Can do BKK and Koh Chang.

Koh Lipe have the best clear water, an island with 3 beach but can only reach thru Langkawi or Hat Yat.

Yup ... but some hotels wont be that expensive also ...
from apr to jul, hotel prices quite cheap ...
3* can go as low as 27sgd to 30+ per nite just few min walk from junceylon mall ...
4* about 50+
if peak period, price can go as high as double or more for some hotels ...

no went before ... only been to phnom penh ... things there more expensive than in singapore (if you are shopping at malls or supermarkets) ... most things in usd ...

Yes, Jan is peak season, go any where Thailand beach is nice weather. But popular hotels will be more expensive.

they go big c take the snacks like foc ...

I think my 3rd time to Phuket this Year liao
Anw now I just take their airport bus to Patong area 180baht (used to be cheaper)

From no jungcelyon until have jungcelyon....I oldster there liao

especially ah tiong there ... eating seafood ...

if go with 3pax, normally take car is better ...
if book urself online , is about 600b for saloon car, 700b for mpv ...

Same oldster here. Last time phi phi very beautiful now dirty and crowded liao.
