I applied but I don't think its under subscribed leh.. Units available 215 vs 349 applicants. Even if you are referring to first timer ratio, there is still a chance you might not get a number as they ballot both together.

First timer ratio is 0.8. From my understanding, all first timer will be in the ballot pool followed by the rest given to second timer. It means that there is only about 180 first timers and all will be given a queue number. The rest of the 35 are then given to second timer to be in the ballot queue.

aiyo guys..if ratio is under 1..it means number of applicants is lesser than number of units available..FOR THAT ALLOCATED AND RESERVED POOL..means u "sure" get lar..

however it is not 100% sure still because u have to factor in ethnic ratio too within ur allocated pool of applicants..

by allocated i mean first or 2nd timer or priority scheme ppl

The exact ballot procedure is anybody's guess. Second timers can get a better number than first timer and even first timers under priority scheme did not get a number - this has happened before. So I would not say that you are guaranteed a number, first timers have a higher chance for sure but again, not guaranteed given previous balloting experiences shared in forums.
