I applied for may 2015 sbf and my appt is December. But because my queue number is veey big, I also applied for nov sbf too.

If I book a flat on my appointment next month, will I still receive my ballot results for this sbf exercise also? Or will it auto cancel my application the moment I book my flat?

Nov SBF application will be auto cancelled once you book a flat under May SBF. Likely only recieve the Nov SBF result in Feb 16.

Where you apply and what number you got?

Applied at woodlands 4 room. My number is 272/195. But I'm watching the queue and the number of flats available, last checked latest queue was 44 and 28 units booked only. Which means there is 16 dropouts so far. (I think so)

There might be a chance of me booking a flat, provided if 60~70 more applicants dropout.

But I don't want to stay at low floor units, units near refuse chutes or units facing east/west sun. Seeing my queue number, getting a good flat seems difficult.

Yah, getting flat of one's choice really depends on luck. Just wait for your appt date and see if any ok units for your to book. Otherwise Nov SBF can be another option.

so Nov SBF you apply where?

PS I booked my woodland 5 Room flat le. Wish you good luck 😊

Very likely you will get to choose a unit... but may not be your ideal flat.

Having said that, if you forfeit the flat selection, very likely you will be considered a 2nd timer for nov 2015 sobf, making it even harder for you to get a good number.

Haha woodlands again. But this nov sbf flat supply quite pathetic. Lol

Just hope that I have some decent flats to choose from during my appointment.

We actually drove to the Sembawang site to look see a few days ago. Eastcrown looks like a long walk to the new Canberra MRT... but since we want 5rm we have no choice but to try for it. Eastlace is nearer to the main road but only left 4rms and below.

It looks near on the map but in real life, it looks like a 2 bus stop walk to me.

Mm strictly speaking only eastlink 1 is rly very close to the mrt.. but the eastcrown blocks nearer to eastlink 1 as well as the eastlace blocks nearer to eastlink 2 shldnt be too far off the mrt as well..

Eastlace blocks may be very noisy if they face the road (as well as the mrt) though. That road is really noisy, a light sleeper like me wouldn't be able to stand it.

wondering if anyone can help me out here, I am looking at units which has Probable Completion Date at 2Q/2016 and Delivery Possession Date 30 Jun 2017.

My dilemma, I will probably not be able to move in on 2Q 2016 however 30th June 2017 will be just perfect.

In this case, I am reading the FAQ it says that whichever is later applies, meaning to say, if selected, I am able to hold off the collection of keys and the handing in of my documents (housing loans, wedding cert etc) until June 2017?

In this case, does my housing loan payment only start in June 2017 as well?

I just received my May SBF results and the available units printed are correct as of 16th Nov, 1 day before Nov SBF is launched. Should I look at the units available online here - http://esales.hdb.gov.sg/hdbvsf/eampu11p.nsf/0/15NOVSBF_page_1911/$FILE/about0.html - for the most accurate update, and disregard the ones printed?

No, you should still refer to the printed ones. The flats offered in May and Nov SBF are different. You can refer to this link for the May SBF avaliable units
