no quota is for second timers i thought?

The HDB form never say first or second timer. It just says no quota for mcps

So I wonder the no quota means they never set aside flats? Cos if they don't let u use mcps they will not put up that tick box for u to tick Mah

I also dunno if can get good number or not. Some says by luck also...

If this sbf not successful in securing a unit, will the next exercise be considered second-timer, no right?

Also, after this sales launch, what would be a good guess for the next one? My wife and i probably will go ahead with Jurong East/west area (4 room) with PPS+MCPS scheme. Need to pray darn hard to secure our ideal unit. :s22:

Looks like things are looking good for sembawang applicants 😁 If the application rate remains low, the 2nd timer would benefit too as there will be more than enough units for all to select!

Does this mean that 1st timer will get to choose a unit 1st then follow by 2nd timer? Current rate for Sembawang 3rm is 0.2 (1st timer) and based on my understanding, I calculated that there are ard 64 1st timer for 318 units (95% of flat supply) for 3rm and ard 129 2nd timers for 17 units (5% of flat supply) for 3rm?

Anyone can verify whether my calculations are correct?

After they shortlist the 95% (1st timer) and 5% (2nd timer), they then conduct another ballot to see who get which queue number. It's not a case of 1st timer choose first, then followed by 2nd timer.

Btw, queue numbers are allocated to 300% of supply, not 100%, iirc.

I think whether or not you get a queue number, it depends more on the application rate than the priority schemes. Priority scheme just give you a slightly better chance.

Just to clarify, for those using MCPS (parents staying together with you), if your parent is an owner of the existing HDB, u need to sell it within 6 months after u get possession of your new flat right?

Saw it from the terms and conditions.
