Pay attention to the BTOs. HDB will announce BTO, and settle them first before moving on to SOBF. The BTOs will need to get their queue number first, then they will proceed to the choosing of flats. When they are around halfway done, then the ballot for SOBF will come out.

Doubt BTO selection would be half way done by the time SOBF results is out rah..

SOBF usually out 1 month after BTO results is release..Selection for BTO usually starts 1-2 weeks earliest after result release..

The last that I remember was the May ballot. SOBF was out when Clementi BTO was almost finished. You are probably right, it may not be half, but definitely about a month plus (a little) after the release of the BTO.

Depend on project...

Clementi was small quantity and hot launch so selection was moving faster for them..

For Nov BTO, Bidadari is hot but big quantity..

SBF is like that one... selection even slower. HDB go by alphabetical order of estate name. Ang mo kio will choose first and Yishun last.

I remember I ballot for Woodlands... results released in mid August, selection in mid November. Wait until neck long.. somemore i got a small number also waited for 3mths. Those who get big numbers even worse, longer wait.
