He claim he didnt have cash on him to return on the spot. i dont think i am looping and adding spices when I was just asking for advice what i can do next.

as stated previously if you read properly. he said he will paynow as he dint have cash on him but unfortunately after 6 hours he decided that oh hey there is a dent so hes not gonna pay me back my deposit and i have to pay additional.

From the time till that photo you received- 6 hours, alot of things can happen. You have some chance to debate it out.
Adv to you: Hand over car all goes well and 6 hours later you were notified about the dent.

Dis-adv to you: No agreement/documents available.

Seek CASE out and see what they can advise you.

They accept the car and considered you return and signed the form right ?

I hope there is a form to say you returned the car at this date and time .. and everything is in good order.

This is my first time renting a car and yes i also thought after he check the car and said okay means okay. He didnt ask me to sign any documents too and i didnt know of any documents needed to sign.

Now he whatsapp a few hours later and said his mechanic found this dent on the bumper.

Today when i spoke with him again and he acted all gangster insisting that if i dont pay then he will ask the mechanic to repair the whole bumper and send the bill to me instead.

I was actually renting this for 6 months to try out grab after i lost my job.

unfortunately, when I got the car, no form was signed except the lease.
Upon returning the car, didnt know the procedure and also didnt sign anything.

I just looking for advise on how to deal with him with the law not wanting to gangster him online if not i would have exposed the company name right ?

yes this person was nice at first then when this thing happened he became full on gangster mode, shouting on the phone like a mad person.
